Like you, I'm very concerned by the health implications of ATM (maybe more than most people as I actually have a couple of older male friends who, upon applying for life insurance, were recently diagnosed with dormant strains of hepatitis, most likely contracted through exposure to raw sewage during the Korean War), as well as the anus to vagina sex acts that I've seen on film. I know there are viewers who believe all this disregard for basic safety and sanitary practices only adds to the fantasy aspect of porn, but personally I'd rather have a little less "fantasy" and a little more real world common sense in the films I watch.

Aside from the general "blerkiness" aspect of it, I don't like it because of the mentality behind it. I see this act in porn as reflecting a desire to see women made "dirty". A lot of the time it's not about consensual powerplay really, or S&M or that kind of thing. I think it comes from the same mindset that enjoys the scenarios on Bangbus. It's a hateful way of presenting sex. And that mindset really detracts from any arousal that may be occurring.
