no way!! no one needs your credit card info unless you're buying something from them. what a scam!

the free adult id verification sites are a well-known scam, of a type called "cramming". they take your credit card and say that they wont charge you a cent for the verification service... but read the fine print! you are actually signing up for a subcription that will start charging your credit card unless you cancel within the trial-period. except... it is actually ridiculously difficult to cancel... the 800 number puts you on hold forever, you finally speak to someone and they make you jump through all sorts of hoops... you get accidentally disconnected. many people end up cancelling the card to get the changes to stop. be very wary.
